UPSSC VDO Recruitment 2023 - Apply online from 23rd May for 1468 vacancies

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) invited online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 1468 vacancies of Village Development Officer (VDO) post . UPSSSC has issued a recruitment notification for the above mentioned post. Interested & Eligible Candidates can apply online through the website www.upsssc.gov.in . The Online Application form will open on 23rd May and close on 12th June, 2023. UPSSC will shortlist the candidates for Gram Panchayat Adhikari Main Examination on the basis of their score in Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2022).

Eligibility Criteria for VDO : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed Intermediate or equivalent Examination . Candidates should have CCC Certificate in Computer from NIELIT.

Age Limit : Candidates must not have less than 18 years and not more than 40 years.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100/-.

Selection Process : Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their score obtained in Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2022). Then , the selection of the shortlisted candidates will be based on following stages : 

1. Mains Written Examination

2. Document Verification

3. Medical Examination

Application Fee : All category candidates are required to pay Rs. 25 through Online mode.

How to Apply : Candidates must visit the website www.upsssc.gov.in to apply Online. Candidates will have 2 options to login through PET Registration number i.e either 

1. Through Personal Details : Candidates can login by entering their registration number, date of birth, Sex, UP Domicile certificate or Caste category certificate. OR

2. Through O.T.P : Candidates can login by entering OTP which will come on their registered mobile number/Email Id .
