Bihar SSC Recruitment 2023 for Stenographer & Instructor post - Apply Now

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) invites online applications from eligible and energetic candidates for filling up the 225 vacancies of Stenographer and 07 vacancies of Instructor post. BSSC has total 232 vacancies for above mentioned post. Candidates must read the notification first and ensure their eligibility before going to apply online. Desirous Candidates can fill online application form till 14th June, 2023. Online Registration has already started on 15th May, 2023. All the details like eligibility criteria, selection process, pay scale etc are mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria for Stenographer & Instructor : 

Educational Qualification : 

1. For Stenographer : Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination.

2. For Instructor : ITI (2 years course from NCVT/SCVT) or Polytechnic (3 years Engineering Diploma).

Age Limit : The minimum age limit for all the candidates is 18 years and maximum age limit for :

1. Unreserved male candidates : 37 years.

2. Unreserved Female candidates : 40 years.

3. BC/OBC(Male/Female) : 40 years.

4. SC/ST (Male/Female) : 42 years.

Selection Methodology : The Selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in Written Test conducted by BSSC.

Pay Scale : 

1. Instructor : Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400/-

2. Stenographer : Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100/-.

Application Fee : 

1. For General/BC/OBC Candidates : Rs. 540/-.

2. For SC/ST/Female (Residents of Bihar) : Rs. 135/-.

3. For all category Disable candidates : Rs. 135/-.

4. For all category candidates (belongs outside the Bihar) : Rs. 540/-.
