Maharashtra Forest Department Recruitment 2023 - Online form, salary 

Maharashtra Forest Department has issued a notification on its official website for the recruitment of candidates to the Forest Guard, Accountant, Surveyor, Junior Engineer, Jr. & Sr. Statistical Assistant and Stenographer (LG &HG) post. Department aims to fill 2417 vacancies through this recruitment drive. Candidates who wish to apply for above mentioned post, can apply online from 10th June, 2023. The link for online registration  will be close on 30th June, 2023. Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification :

1. Forest Guard : 10th/12th Passed.

2. Surveyor : 12th pass and  a survey training course certificate from a recognized institution.

3. Accountant : Graduation from a recognized university .

4. Stenographer : Passed Certificate Examination in Secondary Schools, Proficiency in shorthand speed of at least 100/120 words per word.

5. Jr. Engineer (Civil) : Diploma in Civil Engineering.

6. Sr. & Jr. Statistical Assistant :  Post Graduation in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce ,  Agriculture, or Statistics.

Age Limit : The minimum age limit for all category candidates is 18 years and the maximum age limit is as follows :

1. For Accountants &  Surveyor : 40 years

2. For Forest Guard : 27 years

3. For remaining other post : 40 years.

Selection process : Department will conduct Online Examination. Candidates who will qualify the written test will be selected for above mentioned post.

Pay Scale : 

1. Forest Guard : Rs. 21,700 - Rs. 69,100/-.

2. Accountant : Rs. 29,200 - Rs. 92,300

3. Surveyor : Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100

4. Stenographer (Higher Grade) : Rs. 44,900 - Rs. 1,42,400

5. Stenographer (Lower Grade) : Rs. 41,800 - Rs. 1,32,300

6. Junior Engineer : Rs. 38,600 - Rs. 1,22,800

7. Sr. Statistical Assistant : Rs. 38,600 - Rs. 1,22,800

8. Jr. Statistical Assistant : Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100

Application Fee : 

1. Unreserved Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 through online mode.

2. Reserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 900/-.
