JKPSC Horticulture Development Officer salary, qualification , selection process

Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission(JKPSC) has invited online application from eligible and dynamic candidates for filling up of 41 vacancies of Horticulture  Development Officer post in the Agriculture Production Department (Horticulture) under  direct recruitment quota. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the  eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before online registration. Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess M.Sc Horticulture. In case of  non-availability, B.sc Horticulture/B.Sc Agriculture.

Age Limit as on 01.01.2023 : The maximum age limit for the candidates belonging to various category is as follows : 

1. For OM : 40 years

2. For RBA, SC,ST, ALC/IB, EWS,PSP, SOC : 43 years

3. For In service Candidate : 40 years

4. For PHC : 42 years

Pay Scale : Rs. 47,600- Rs. 1,51,100 (Level 8)

Selection Process : The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in written test. The selection for the written examination shall be notified separately .

Requisite Fee : After successful submission of the online application form, candidate will be required to deposit requisite fee through online mode. 

1. For General Category : Rs. 1000

2. For Reserved Category : Rs. 500

3. For PHC Candidates : NIL

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.jkpsc.nic.in . Candidates are first required to register himself/herself through "One time Registration" link. Now, candidates are required to fill all the requisite fields of one time registration and upload the image of photograph and signature. Pay the Application Fee. Candidates will not be required to submit a hard copy of the online application form.
