Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) invites Online Applications from young professionals for filling up the 30 vacancies of Executive Trainees post and 30 vacancies of Rigger Trainee Post. Period of training for Rigger Trainee post shall be for 2 years. Candidates fulfilling eligibility  requirements can apply online for above mentioned post. The Online Application form has started on 29th June, 2023 and will close on 20th July, 2023.We are furnishing all the details like qualification, age limit, selection process etc below.

1. Rigger Trainee : 30 vacancies 

2. Executive Trainee (Mechanical) : 10 vacancies 

3. Executive Trainee (Electrical) : 06 vacancies 

4. Executive Trainee (Electronics) : 01 vacancy

5. Executive Trainee (Instrumentation) : 01 vacancy

6. Executive Trainee (Naval Architecture) : 06 vacancies 

7. Executive Trainee (Safety) : 02 vacancies 

8. Executive Trainee (Information Technology) : 01 vacancy

9. Executive Trainee (Human Resource) : 01 vacancy

10. Executive Trainee (Finance) : 02 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification : 

1. Executive Trainee : Degree in relevant engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University.

2. Rigger Trainee : Pass in VIII Std. (Graduates or Diploma holders are not eligible).

Age limit : 

1. For ET : The upper age limit for Executive trainee shall be 27 years as on 20th July, 2023.

2. For Rigger Trainee (RT) : Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 20 years as on 14th July, 2023.

Method of Selection : The selection Process comprises of 2 phases :

1. Phase-I (for both ET & RT) : Objective Type Online Test 

2. Phase-II for ET : Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills and personal interview

3. Phase II for RT : Physical Test

Pay Scale : After completion of 1 year training, the Executive Trainee shall be considered for appointment as Assistant Manager. in the scale of pay of Rs. 40,000 -3% - Rs. 1,40,000 /-.

Monthly Emoluments for Executive Trainee : Rs. 1,09,342 (Rs. 13 lakhs CTC)

Stipend for Rigger Trainee : Rs. 6000 for First Year and Rs. 7000 for Second year.

Application Fee : 

1. SC/ST/PWD Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

2. Other category candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000 for Executive Trainee  and Rs. 600 for Rigger Trainee post.

How to Apply : Applicants can apply online through the website www.cochinshipyard.in.  Candidates are first required to register themselves through OTR process. After registration,  candidates are required to fill online application form and upload scanned image of photograph, signature and other documents. 

After applying through online, candidates should retain a soft copy /print out of the online  application containing the unique registration number generated by the system for their reference.
