ASRB ARS Examination 2023 Notification- online registration will begin on 05th July

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has published a notification of Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2023 on its official website  www.asrb.org.in . ASRB Will conduct ARS Exam in conventional Pen/paper mode during  October/November 2023 at 19 centres across India. Examination will be held for filling up 260 vacancies. The Online Application filling process will be opened from 10:00 Hrs on 05th July 2023 till 17:30 hrs on 26th July, 2023 .Other details like eligibility criteria, selection process, how to apply etc are mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates must hold a PhD degree in relevant disciplines  from any Indian University. Candidates who are pursuing PhD degree, are eligible to appear in ARS Examination.

Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years as on 01.01.2023.

Pay Band : Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 with RGP of Rs. 6000/-.

Revised Pay Scale : Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400/-.

Selection Process : Selection of the candidates consist of following stages : 

1. ARS 2023 Examination of 3 hour duration in conventional Mode : 300 marks

2. Research Accomplishments : 40 marks

3. Personal Interview : 60 marks

Application Fee : 

1. Unreserved/EWS/OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 800/-.

2. SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online through official website www.asrb.org.in . Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before filling the online application form. The Candidates are required to enter their valid and active E-mail ID in the application form  since all communication/Information for this examination would be sent to this email id only.

Last date for submission of online application form : 26th July, 2023 upto 05.30 PM

Last date and time for making online fee payment : 26th July, 2023 upto 05.00 PM
