Chandigarh Police invites online applications for direct recruitment to 44 vacancies of  Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) of Group C. Interested & Eligible Candidates can  apply online for Chandigarh police ASI Recruitment 2023 from 21st June, 2023 to 15th July, 2023 . Selection of the candidates for ASI post will be based on written test. The eligibility criteria, examination fee, notification, apply online link and other details are well furnished below.

Eligibility Criteria for ASI : 

Age as on 15.06.2023 : 

1. For General Category : 18 to 25 years

2. For OBC Category : 18 to 28 years

3. For SC Category : 18 to 30 years

Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess Graduation or its equivalent from any recognized University. Candidates should have ICT skill course as it is mandatory at entry level for all fresh recruitments and for promotions/grant of benefit under assured career progression scheme (ACPS) to all group employees.

Application Fee : 

1. Unreserved, OBC,EWS Candidates : Rs. 1000

2. Scheduled caste : Rs. 800

3. Ex-Serviceman : Exempted from application fee

Selection Process : Candidates are first required to appear for Single Examination of 2 hours duration. Examination will consist of 2 Tiers : 

1. Tier I : OMR Sheet based Test (50 marks) 

2. Tier II : Written Test (50 marks)

Those will qualify written test will be called for Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PE&MT). The final merit list for each category shall be based on the outcome of the total marks obtained in the written examination and the bonus marks as above, for those who qualify in PE&MT.

Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PE&MT) : 

A. Height : 170 cms (Male) and 157 cms (female).

B. Chest : 81 cms with expansion of 4 cms (Male).

C. Race : 1600 mtrs in 6 minutes & 30 seconds (Male) and 500 mtrs in 2 minutes & 30 seconds (female).

D. Long Jump : 12' (3 chances for male) and 8' (3 chances for female)

E. High Jump : 4' (3 chances for male) and 3' (3 chances for female)

Pay Scale : Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300/-.

How to Apply : Candidates can apply by filling the online application form through the Chandigarh police website, which link is mentioned below. After applying online, registration number and password will be generated. Take print out of the registration number and password screen for future reference of your application status.

The final submission of application form will only be after payment of the fee through recruitment portal.
