Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) invites online applications from graduate engineers and post graduates in Science for recruitment to the posts of Scientist 'B' in Defence Research & Development   Organization (DRDO) . Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in their final year examination are also eligible for applying to the Scientist post.  Interested & Eligible Candidates can apply online on or before 21 days from the date of activation of online registration link available at RAC website ie. The notification link for RAC Scientist Recruitment is provided at the bottom of this article.

Essential Qualification : Candidates should have completed At least First Class bachelor's degree in engineering or First Class Master's degree in Science in the subject/discipline from a recognized University.

Maximum Age Limit : 

1. For Unreserved (UR)/EWS Candidates : 28 years

2. For OBC (Non-Creamy layer) : 31 years

3. For SC/ST : 33 years

Pay Scale : Rs. 56,100/-

Total Emoluments: Rs. 1,00,000 per month

Recruitment Process : The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the GATE Scores.  Shortlisted Candidates will be called for appearing in the Personal Interview to be held at  Delhi or any other places as decided by RAC/DRDO.

Application Fee : 

1. General (UR), EWS and OBC male Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100 as application fee.

2. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PwD and women candidates.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to register Online at the RAC website www.rac.gov.in . On Successful registration, the candidates may login before the closing  date of the advertisement to fill the application form online. The candidates are required to upload the requisite certificates, the details of the application fee payment and lock the application before submission of the same. 

Last Date : 21 days from the date of activation of online registration link at the RAC website at 1700 Hrs (IST)
