Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) invites Online Recruitment Applications from desirous and eligible candidates  for filling up the 65 vacancies of Agriculture Development Officers posts in the Department of Agriculture, H.P. Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess B.SC (Agriculture) under 4 years Program and M.SC (Agriculture) 2nd class from a college University organized by the State/Central Government. Preference will be given to those candidates who have M.SC(Agri) 1st class or above and knowledge of customs, manners, dialects of HP.

Age Limit : The Maximum age limit for ADO post is 45 years as on 01.01.2024.

Pay Scale : Rs. 48,700 - Rs. 1,54,300/-.

Application Fee : 

1. Candidates of other states are required to Pay Rs. 600/-.

2. Male Candidates of General, EWs, wards of Freedom Fighter, General Physically Disabled and Ex-Servicemen are required to pay Rs. 600/-.

3. Male candidates of SC,ST,OBC, Ex-servicemen and EWs need to pay Rs. 150/-.

Selection Process : The Examination will be held in 2 stages i.e

1. Stage I : Screening Test and Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test.

2. Stage II : Personality Test.
