The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a cancellation notice on its official website  which states that Recruitment of Assistant Professor in various Departments (Specialty) of Medical College & Hospitals under Health Department, Govt of Bihar is postponed with immediate effect.  During the month of June, BPSC had invited online applications from eligible citizens for filling up of the 1339 vacancies of  Assistant Professors(Specialists) in various Medical Hospitals. The last date for filling online applications form was 26th july, 2024. Huge number of candidates filled the online application form. Now BPSC has postponed this recruitment for some reason, but it will be active very soon. BPSC Recruitment vacancy details : 

Number of vacancies : 1339

Name of post : Assistant Professor (Medical)

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done MD/MS in Related Field along with 3 years of Experience.

Age Limit : The Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years and should not crossed the age of 45 years. The Crucial date for the calculation of the age limit is 1.8.2023. 

Application Fee : 

1. General/OBC/EWS candidates : Rs. 300/-.

2. SC/ST/PWD/Female Candidates : Rs. 225/-

Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 with grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-.

Selection Process : Candidates will have to undergo following stages of Recruitment for selection:

1. Stage I : Interview

2. Stage II : Document Verification

3. Stage III : Medical Examination
