Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has given employment notification for the Recruitment of Assistant Accounts Officer vacancy. APSC is going to fill 130 vacancies of AAO post. Assam PSC Recruitment 2024 vacancy details : 

Name of Post : Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO)

Number of vacancies in Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) : 69

Number of vacancies in Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) : 61

Educational Qualification : 

1. For those belonging to the SC/ST and for Departmental candidates minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%. 

2. For other candidates : Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce with min. 55%  marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or Honors (BA/B,Sc).

Age limit : The Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2024. Age Relaxation of 05 years is permissible for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

Scale of pay : Rs. 25000 to Rs. 92000 (pay scale) + Rs. 11,000 (grade pay) + other allowances.

Application Fee : 

1. General candidates are required to pay total amount of Rs. 297.20/-.

2. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 197.20 .

3. BPL & PWD Candidates are not required to pay application fee, they only need to pay  processing fee of amount Rs. 47.20.

Selection Process : The Commission will notify the selection process later followed by issuing corrigendum/addendum, if required. 

How to Apply : Candidates who want to apply for AAO post, are required to apply online through APSC's recruitment website . Candidates are first required to register themselves through the website www.apscrecruitment.in and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic details.

After registration, go to apply section and fill all the details asked in the form. Then pay the application fee, submit the online recruitment application and download the print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application and keep it safe for further reference.

Note : In order to fill online application form, candidates must first check that the required  certificates relating to age, caste and minimum educational qualification will be fetched from the OTR Profile. Candidates are to update the OTR Profile if any additional documents are to be uploaded in support of the advertised post.
