TS TET 2023 Online Application form 2023 - Notification, Eligibility, Exam dates

TS TET 2023 online registration starts from 02nd August, 2023

Government of Telangana, State school Education Department has published a TET 2023 Notification on its official website . TET stands for Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET-2023). Telangana Government invites online applications from eligible candidates who intend to become teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State. TET will be held on 15th September, 2023 in all 33 districts of the state. Interested & Eligible candidates can fill online application form for TET 2023 from 02nd August, 2023 onwards. Other details are mentioned below.

About TS TET 2023 : TET will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I and Paper-II. 

The Candidates who want to become teachers for Class I to V will have to appear for paper I and the Candidates who want to become teachers for Class VI to VIII have to appear for paper-II. Candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for  both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. 

TS TET Exam Dates & Timing : 

Exam Date : 15th September, 2023

Timings for Paper I : 09:30 am to 12:00 noon (duration 2 & 1/2 hours)

Timings for Paper II : 2.30 pm to 5:00 pm (duration 2 & 1/2 hours)

Eligibility Criteria for TET : 

Educational Qualification : 

1. For TS TET paper I (class I to V) :  

i. Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks And 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

ii. Graduation with at least 50% marks and Pass in B.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education)

2. For TS TET Paper II (Class VI to VIII) :

i. B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks and Pass in B.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education).

ii. 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks.

iii. Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of  oriental language and Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned.

iv. B.E/B.Tech with at least 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Age limit : There is no age criteria.

Selection Process : Candidates will have to qualify the TET Exam .

Examination Fee : Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400 for a single paper i.e (only paper I or Paper II) or for both papers (i.e Paper I and paper II).

How to Apply : Candidates can fill online application form through the website www.tstet.cgg.gov.in . Candidates are advised to first read the information bulletin completely , then apply online.
