TNPSC Assistant jailor Admit card will be available on 20th June, 2023

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will release TNPSC Assistant Jailor Hall Ticket 2023 on 20th June, 2023 on its official  website of TNPSC . The Hall Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in the commission's website  www.tnpscexams.in /  www.tnpsc.gov.in for downloading by applicants. Candidates who had applied for Online Computer based test will be able to download Assistant Jailor Admit card from 20th June, 2023 onwards. 

Earlier, the Commission had invited applications for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Jailor (Men) and Assistant jailor (Women) in Prisons & Correctional Services Department included in the Tamil Nadu Jail Subordinate Service. Commission will fill total 59 vacancies throughout this recruitment drive, out of which 54 vacancies are said for Men and 05 vacancies are said for Women. Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination (Objective Type) for the said posts is scheduled to be held on 01st July, 2023 .

Admit Card to the eligible Candidates for the written Examination will be posted on the Portal and should be downloaded by the Candidates. Assistant Jailor Admit Card will not be sent by Post or by any other means. 

The Commission may send the information regarding examination and other things to the registered email-id/ mobile number. In case of non-receipt of the communication / information due to technical defect, error or failure, the commission shall not be responsible for the same. Candidates are advised not to change their email-id/ mobile number till the recruitment process is completed.

TNPSC Assistant Jailor Examination will consist of 2 Papers and their timings are mentioned below:

1. Paper I (Subject Paper, Degree Standard) : 09.30 A.M to 12.30 P.M

2. Paper II : 02.00 P.M to 05.00 P.M

a. PART A : Tamil Eligibility cum Scoring Test (SSLC Standard)

b. PART B : General Studies (Degree Standard)
