NLC India Limited (NLCIL) invites applications through on-line mode exclusively for providing training in NLCIL, Neyveli Units. NLC will recruit the candidates to fill up 500 vacancies of Industrial Trainee post. Interested must read the instructions first given in the notification properly, then apply. Eligible & desirous candidates can apply online from 09.06.2023 onwards. Crucial date for determining the eligibility conditions, reservation ,   claim etc is 01.06.2023. Other details are provided below.

Total Number of vacancies : 500

Name of the post : 

1. Industrial Trainee (Specialized Mining Equipment (SME) Operations )) : 238 posts

2. Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines support Service ) : 262 posts

NOTE : Duration of Training is 03 years. Trainees will be posted to any Place / Area / Unit of NLC India Limited, Neyveli for training.

Eligibility Conditions for IT : 

Educational Qualification : 

1. For IT (SME operations): Full time Diploma in Engineering Course of minimum 3 years duration.

2. For IT (Mines & MSS) : ITI - Fitter or Turner or Electrician or Welding or MMV or Diesel Mechanic or Tractor Mechanic or Civil or Foundry or Cable Jointing Trades with NAC Certification.

Upper Age limit : 

1. For UR/EWS : 37 years

2. For OBC (NCL) : 40 years

3. For SC/ST : 42 years

Consolidated Stipend : 

A. For IT (SME Operations) : 

1. During 1st year : Rs. 18,000

2. During 2nd year : Rs. 20,000

3. During 3rd Year : Rs. 22,000

B. IT (Mines & MSS) :

1. During 1st year : Rs. 14,000

2. During 2nd year : Rs. 16,000

3. During 3rd year : Rs. 18,000

Method of Selection : 

1. Selection of the applicants for training shall be through written test.

2. Final selection will be in the order of merit based on the overall total score of marks obtained in selection by the candidates, with due reservation for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / EWS categories. 

Medical Fitness : Every Provisionally selected candidates will be first required to undergo Pre-Engagement Medical Examination before being engaged under the training scheme.

How to Apply : Candidates should apply only through online mode in NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in . Candidates have to upload required scanned copies of photograph, signature, self-attested documents / certificates in the prescribed format. After submitting the online application form, candidates should take a print out of registration cum application form and produce it along with self-attested copies of certificates / documents, at the time of Document / Certificate verification.
