JPSC Recruitment 2023, Notification out for 256 vacancies - Apply Online for Medical Officer post

JPSC Medical Officer Online form available from 19th June

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has invited online application from eligible candidates for filling of 230 vacancies of Medical Officer (Regular) Advt. No. 19/2023 and 26 vacancies of Medical Officer (Backlog) Advt. No. 20/2023 post. Candidates who meets eligibility criteria and want to apply for Medical officer post, can fill online application form from 19th June, 2023. For Backlog vacancies, online registration will  start on 21st June, 2023. Details like vacancy, educational qualification, age limit, selection process etc are mentioned below.

1. Medical Officer(Regular) :  230

2. Medical Officer (backlog) : 26

Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done M.B.B.S from Medical College recognized by medical council of India and state Govt. and should be registered with MCI or State Medical Council.

Age Limit : The minimum age limit for all the candidates is 23 years and the maximum age limit is as follows :

1. For Unreserved : 35 years

2. For BC/OBC : 37 years

3. For Female (General/BC/OBC) : 38 years

4. For SC/ST (Male/Female) : 40 years

5. For EWS : 35 years

Selection Process : The selection of the candidates shall be based on the marks obtained by candidates in written test and Oral Test.

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 5400.

Examination Fee : 

1. Unreserved, EWS,OBC,BC candidates are required to pay Rs. 600.

2. SC/ST Candidates are required to pay Rs. 150/-.
