Jharkhand Food Safety Officer Notification & Online Application form 2023

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has published a notification for the recruitment of Food Safety Officer post (Advt. No-18/2023). As per the notification, JPSC will recruit the candidates to fill up 56 vacant positions of FSO post. Interested and Eligible Candidates can fill online application form from 15.06.2023 to 14.07.2023. We are providing the details of JPSC FSO Recruitment 2023 like required qualification, age limit, selection process, pay scale etc below.

Name of the Post : Food Safety Officer

Eligibility Criteria for FSO post : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry/ Degree in Medicine or equivalent from any recognized University.

Age limit : The Minimum age limit for the candidates is 21 years and the maximum age limit for 

1. Unreserved : 35 years.

2. OBC/BC candidates : 37 years

3. Female candidates : 38 years

4. SC/ST Candidates : 40 years

Selection Process : The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in written test and Interview.

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-.

Examination Fee : 

1. Unreserved, EWS, OBC Candidates have to pay Rs. 600 + Bank Charges.

2. SC/ST Candidates of Jharkhand state need to pay Rs. 150 along with bank charges.

How to Apply : Candidates shall be required to fill online application form through the JPSC website www.jpsc.gov.in . Candidates has to register him/his bio-data particulars first through One time Profile Registration (OTPR). Upon registration, candidates will get User ID and password. Login with registration credentials, fill the form with all the basic and other details, upload scanned copy of photograph & Signature and pay the application fee through online mode.

After submission of online application, candidates need to take print out of submitted application form and send the hard copy of application form to the following address :

Last date for submission of online application : 14.07.2023 up to 05:00 P.M
