IRCTC kolkata Apprentice Trainee online registration starts from 14th June

Indian Railway Catering & Tourism corporation Ltd, East Zone, kolkata has issued a notification for engagement of candidates as Apprentice Trainees for FY 2023-24 under Apprenticeship Act 1961. IRCTC will recruit the candidates to fill up 25 seats of Apprentice trainee in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade. Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria may apply online from 14.06.2023 to 29.06.2023 by visiting website apprenticeshipindia.gov.in . Place of work will be in Kolkata Only. Number of candidates : 25

Name of the post :  Apprentice Trainee

Name of the Trade : Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)

Training Duration : 01 year

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Matriculation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board and ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT / SCVT in COPA trade. 

Age Limit : Candidates should not be less than 15 years and should not be more than 25 years as on 01.06.2023. 05 years age relaxation for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for Ex-Servicemen & Differently abled candidates.

Method of Selection : Selection of the candidates will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks. No written test or viva will be done. Final selection of applicants would be subject to verification of original testimonials.

Monthly Stipend : 

1. For class 10th passed candidates : Rs. 6,000 per month

2. For class 12th passed candidates : Rs. 7,000 per month

3. For National or State Certificate holder : Rs. 7000 per month

4. Technician (vocational) apprentice or Vocational Certificate holder or Sandwich Course : Rs. 7,000 per month

How to Apply : Candidates will be able to apply online from 14th June, 2023 through the portal https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal. While filling online application form, candidates are required to submit the self attested copy of the following documents : 

1. 10th Standard Mark Sheet and Certificate.

2. ITI Standard mark sheet.

3. National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT

4. Certificate for proof of date of birth

5. 12th Standard Mark Sheet and Certificate, if any.

6. Graduation Mark Sheet and Certificate, if any

7. Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC Applicants.

8. OBC Certificate should not be issued earlier than ONE YEAR.

9. Disability certificate, in case of PwBD Applicants

10. Discharge Certificate/Serving Certificate

11. Recent Colour photograph
