OPSC Recruitment Notification out for 176 vacancies - Registration will start on 29th May

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications from the prospective candidates for recruitment to 45 posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests in group A and 131 posts of Forest Ranger in Group B. Candidates who want to grab this job opportunity, must fill online application form from 29th May, 2023 . Aspiring candidates can apply online on or before the last date i.e 29th June, 2023. Eligibility Criteria  for ACF & Forest Ranger : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done Bachelor's degree from a recognized University or Institution. 

Age Limit : The Candidates must not less than 21 years of age but should not be more than 38 years of age as on 01st day of January, 2023 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than 02nd January, 1985 and not later than 01st January, 2002.

Physical Standards : Aspirants who will qualify the written exam, shall confirm to the   following physical standard and test , namely :

1. Min. Height : 163cm for male & 150cm for Female.

2. Chest : 

i. For Male : 84cm (without expansion) and 89cm (with expansion).

ii. For Female : 79cm (without expansion) and 84cm (with expansion).

Physical Endurance test : 

1. Male : 25kms in 04 hours.

2. Female : 16kms in 04 hours.

Method of Selection : The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will consist

of the following successive stages :

1. written examination : 1400 marks

2. Physical test 

3. Viva voce test : 200 marks

Pay Scale : 

1. For ACF post : Rs. 56,100/-

2. For Forest Ranger post : Rs. 44,900/-

Examination Fee : All category candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee.
