Notification for filling Lecturer Online Application form under Direct Recruitment in JKPSC

Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) invites applications through Online mode from the eligible candidates for filling up the 27 vacancies of Lecturer post under Direct Recruitment Quota.  Applicants possessing the prescribed academic / professional qualification and age limit for lecturer post can apply online from 30th May, 2023 onwards . The last date for submission of online application is 29th June, 2023. The Notification link and other eligibility details are provided below.

5. Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Wood Technology : 01

6. Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Food Technology : 01

7. Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Garment Technology : 01

8. Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Textile Designing : 02

9. Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Medical Lab Technology : 02

10. Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Office Management & Computer Application : 08

Essential Qualification : Candidates must possess Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 55% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering.

Maximum age limit : 

1. For Open Merit : 40 years

2. For RBA/SC/ST : 43 years

3. For PHC : 42 years

4. In service candidate : 40 years.

Selection Process : The selection of the candidates shall be based on written examination.  Written examination shall comprises objective type multiple choice questions of 2 hours  duration with negative marking @ 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

Pay Scale :

1. For Lecturer-I post : Rs. 8000 to Rs. 12,950/-.

2. For Lecturer-II : Rs. 40,800 to Rs. 1,29,200/-.

Application fee : 

1. General category : Rs. 1000

2. Reserved categories : Rs. 500

3. PHC Candidates : NIL

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online through the website of the Commission i.e http://www.jkpsc.nic.in . While filling the online application form, the applicants are required to upload the following documents :

1. Date of birth certificate.

2. Domicile certificate.

3. Bachelor's degree/Diploma with consolidated marks cards.

4. Post Graduation degree with consolidated marks card.

5. NCC  "C" Certificate (If candidates is claiming weightage).
