JKPSC Assistant Engineer Online Application form 2023

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has published a notification for recruitment of the candidates to the post of Assistant Engineer (civil) in Jal Shakti Department.  As per JKPSC AE Recruitment notification, commission will fill 36 vacancies through  Prescribed selection process. Candidates must ensure their eligibility before going to apply. Interested & Eligible candidates will be able to fill online application form from 30th May, 2023.The last, date, cut off date for determining eligibility, educational qualification and other details are provided below.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Engineer: 

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done Bachelor's degree in the relevant branch of Engineering (Civil) Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) India in the appropriate branch of Engineering.

Maximum Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023) :

1. For Open Merit and In Service Candidates : 40 years

2. For RBA,SC,ST,ALC/IB,EWS,PSP,SOC : 43 years

3. For PHC Candidates : 42 years

Selection Process : The selection of the candidates shall be based on the candidates  performance in written test followed by Interview.

Pay Scale : Rs. 50,700 to Rs. 1,60,600/-.

Requisite Fee : After submission of online application, candidates will be required to deposit requisite fee through online mode . Fees may vary for each category as follows : 

1. For General Category : Rs. 1000

2. For Reserved Category : Rs. 500

3. For PHC Candidates : NIL

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.jkpsc.nic.in . Candidates are advised to update their one time registration before filling the application form. After submission of online application form, candidates will not be required to submit a hard copy of the online application form or any other documents to the commission.
