Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs has invited online applications from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/ Technical i.e JIO-II/Tech.  IB will recruit the candidates to fill up 797 vacancies of JIO post. Candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements before filling up the online application form. Candidates will be able to apply online from 03.06.2023 to 23.06.2023 (till 23:59 hrs). Details about vacancy, educational qualification age limit etc are provided below.

Essential Qualifications : Candidates must possess Diploma in Engineering in the respective fields OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications/Science with Electronics / Computer science/Physics/Mathematics from a Govt recognized University.

Age limit : Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years but not crossed the age of 27 years.

Mode of Recruitment : The Selection process shall consist following 3 Tiers: 

1. Tier-I : Online Examination of Objective type MCQs.

2. Tier-II : Skill Test 

3. Tier-III : Interview/Personality test

Pay Scale : Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100/-.

Examination Fee : 

1. For Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC category : Rs. 500/-.

2. For other candidates : Rs. 50/-
