ASRB ARS Exam 2023 Notification for 260 post - Online Registration will begin on 05th July,2023

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will conduct an examination for AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH SERVICE (ARS)-2023 during October, November 2023 at 19 centre across India. ASRB has issued a notification for commencement of Examination. Through this recruitment, ASRB will appoint the candidates as Scientist in ARS of Indian Council. Candidates who want to appear for Examination, can fill online application form starting from 05th July, 2023.Candidates can get all the details like number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, application fee etc below.

Name of Examination : AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH SERVICE (ARS) EXAMINATION -2023

Total Number of vacancies : 360

Name of the post : Scientist

Eligibility Criteria : 

Educational Qualification : candidates must hold a PhD Degree in the relevant subject as   completed on or before 30.09.2023.

Age limit : A candidates should not below the age of 21 years but should not above the age of 35 years as on 01.01.2023. 

Selection Procedure : The Selection of the candidates will be done through Written Examination and Personal Interview. Selected candidates will be recommended for appointment as Scientist in IRS.

Examination Scheme : The Overall distribution of marks for ARS 2023 Examination will be as under : 

1. ARS Examination of 3 hours duration in pen/paper mode : 300 (max. marks)

2. Research Accomplishments : 40 (max marks)

3. Personal Interview : 60 (max marks)

Pay Scale of Scientist : Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400/-.

Application Fee : 

1. For Unreserved/EWS/OBC candidates : Rs. 800/-.

2. For SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates : NIL

Last date for making online fee payment : 26th July, 2023 upto 5.00 PM
