APPSB Recruitment Notification for Constable, Fireman,MTS & other Posts- Online Registration 

Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has published a recruitment notification of "Combined Secondary level Examination 2023" on its official website. APSSB invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to Group C posts against 1370 vacancies for various Departments/Offices .APSSC will recruit the candidates for the post of Constable, Fireman, Laboratory Attendant, Manual Assistant & MTS posts. Desirous Candidates will be able to apply online from 09th June, 2023. Before applying for the above mentioned post, Candidates should go through the Recruitment Notice carefully and ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. All the details like Age/Educational and other qualifications/category are mentioned below.

Eligibility Conditions : 

Educational Qualification : 

1. For MTS post : Class X pass/ITI or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Institution.

2. For remaining post : Class X passed or equivalent from recognized Board.

 

Age limit : 

1. Constable : Between 18 to 22 years.

2. Fireman : Between 18 to 25 years.

3. For other posts : Between 18 to 35 years.

Physical Standard : 

1. For Constable & Fireman : 

A. Height :

i. General Category : 165 cm for Male and 157 cm for Female.

ii. APST (other than Tirap/Changlang/Longding districts) : 160 cm for Male and 157 cm for Female.

iii. APST (Tirap/Changlang/Longding districts) : 152 cm for Male and 150 cm for Female.

B. Chest : 79 cm (Normal) and 84 cm (expansion).

Physical Efficiency Test : 

1. For Constable : 

i. 100 m race : 16 sec for Male & 17 sec for Female.

ii. 1500 m race : 8 mins 30 sec for Male.

iii. 800 m race : 5 min for Female.

iv. High Jump (max 3 attempts) : 120 cm for male and 90 cm for Female.

v. Long Jump (max 3 attempts) : 14 ft and 10 ft.

2. For Fireman (for male only) : 

i. 100 m race with a load of 10 kg : 1 minute.

ii. Climbing a rope or vertical pipe to a height : 8 feet from the ground.

iii. Long Jump (max 3 attempts) : 12 ft.

Examination Fees :

1. For APST candidates : Rs. 150/-.

2. For General Candidates : Rs. 200/-.

3. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are exempted from paying the fees.

Selection Methodology : The Selection of the candidates varies for each post. Post wise  selection process are as follows : 

1. For Constable and Fireman : It will consist 3 stages.

Stage-I : Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Stage-II : Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (300 marks).

Stage-III : Medical Fitness Test.

2. For other posts : Online test will contain Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (300 marks).

Pay Scale : 

1. Constable and Fireman : Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100/-. 

2. Laboratory Attendant : Rs. 19,990 to Rs. 63,200/-.

3. Manual Assistant & MTS: Rs. 18000 to Rs. 56,900/-.
